History

In 1995 Ian Crates saw a growing need for Reliable and cost effective computer support in the New Zealand Market place. From that thought, Freelance Computer Services Limited was developed and quickly grew into a million dollar Network Support Company.

During 2003 Freelance Computer Services rebranded to Innovative IT Solutions Limited to reflect more clear the company's direction and services that it provided.Innovative IT continued to grow and moved to new premises in 2008.

Terrafirma Business Solutions was born in 2006 as the business Consulting and Accounting side of the business was broken off into its own division and the Terrafirma Brand grew rapidly.

As we move into a new financial year for 2011 it was decided to bring Innovative IT and Terrafirma back together and rebrand under the Terrafirma Brand, with Terrafirma IT being born. Tis bring together two very strong brands to form a great company providing a complete suite of services from Business consulting, Accounting software, Project management, complete network supply and support services right through to a complete range or SLA and support contracts.
